If you have a slow windows computer and with as slow as your computer running so slow, not to mention the wait to simply boot up or shut your system down you are probably lucky to use it at all.

Try it yourself without knowing what your doing can make problems worse if you just touch the wrong thing.

#2 Freeing up the available RAM you have on your computer is also a option. You would be surprised to know how many programs you have on your computer that actually run something in the background every time you switch on your system up without you even knowing it.

They do that for all sorts of reasons, mainly to look for updates or to have the program ready just in case you need to use it. But honestly, wouldn't you rather your computer ran faster then have a program ready to go?

You will have to either get someone to turn those programs off for you or do it yourself. All you have to do is to stop these programs from running when windows starts. The easiest way to do this and avoid changing files you do not understand is to download a program that will do it for you and this will speed up your slow windows computer.

Those are just some of the ways you can increase your computer speed.
