Computer Parts And Simple Thing To Get You Started

By: Ruby

Though not everyone knows how to use a computer or what most of the computer parts are just about everyone knows that a computer is a device that gathers and banks information and most will agree they can be a great learning tool for all ages and let's face it you can find a computer running just about every aspect of our daily lives now from store cash registers, banks, cars, some children's toys and even electronic wheelchairs rely on computer technology to name just a few.

If you don't have a computer right now and have decided it's time to get one you have quite a few options to choose from you can go to a department store, a specialty computer store where that is all they sell or you can even call some companies with toll free numbers and tell them what you want and they'll build you one and ship it right to your door.

Before you rush off to get your computer think about what you will be using it for. If you'll be taking it with you'll want to consider either a laptop or a notebook because their portable but if you're just planning on just having it at home for a bit of typing, for the occasional game playing or you want tons of space for working at home a desktop will probably work just fine for you.

If you have a bit more knowledge of computers and you've decided that you'd like to save yourself a few dollars building your own computer might be just the choice for you. All computers are made up of some basic parts that you will want to know about before you start such as:

1. The Motherboard - This is the main circuit board that most other parts of the system attach themselves too.

2. Processor(CPU) - This part takes care of carrying out tasks that programs on the computer want to run for example adding and subtracting. The size of your processor plays a big part in the speed of your computer as well.

3. Hard drive - A hard drive is basically a fancy way of saying storage. It holds all the information for the computer.

4. RAM (Random Access Memory) - The best way to explain RAM is that it is the memory so as you can imagine the more you have the faster your computer will run and the more you can store.

5. Video Card - Allows your computer to accept image related information such as DVD's and games.

6. Sound Card - Makes sound auditable on the computer. Sometimes you'll find that the sound card is actually integrated into the motherboard but this is not always the case.

7. Optical Drives - Disk drives that allow the computer the ability to read media like CD's and DVD's.

Though the above listed are the main parts that make up the actual computer there are also some other parts you may not already have and will want to get such as the monitor, speakers, and a mouse and of course you will need to have to a keyboard for typing.

These days most people enjoy surfing the internet with their computers so if you think that's in your future definitely consider getting a modem while your getting your computer to save yourself some time later. You can easily call your local internet provider to set you up once you're ready to get online.

Another consideration to make is whether or not you will want the things you write or see on your computer to be printed on paper. If yes, than in that case you will have to decide what type of printer you want. Some people like to print off photos so if you're thinking of photos you'll probably want to be a little pickier with your choice of printers so you get a good quality picture. Unlike printers in the past that were just a printer alone now you have the option to buy a printer combination which combines your printer and scanner. Also consider your ink when you decide to get a printer, each printer will require a different number of ink cartridges to make them run.

When you start shopping around for prices you will notice there is quite a range starting from a few hundred into the thousands but don't let that discourage you. Different stores will have different prices for their computers or parts. Just keep in mind what it is you're looking for and consider asking the advice of family and friends maybe even ask them if they would mind tagging along with you.

7 Future Preditions of Computer Animation

By: William Moore

7 Future Preditions of Computer Animation

Computer animation is created by two or three dimensional graphics of computers. Two dimensional computer animation is used for quick rendering and for low bandwidth animation. In cartooning, the computer to be used and the film that is the image generated by the computer is considered. This is a concern especially when making a movie. To create movement in a model, the photo is placed in the screen monitor of the computer used and then changed by a slightly shifted image that looks the same as the previous one. This method is used in making motion pictures to project a movement that is an illusion of how it is with reality.
All computer animated objects uses different computer programs for the detailed representation of the characters in the film. A great challenge for animators is to make a realistic image of humans using computer animation. Today, movies that are computer animated are mostly animal or fantasy models and sometimes humans that are made to look like a cartoon. There are many attempts for movies that are computer generated to make human characters look real. This can be seen in movies like "The Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within". But because of the complexity to replicate the human body, motion, and biomechanics, it is still a big problem to simulate real humans.
It was planned to make a software program wherein the artist will create a sequence in a movie that shows a photo of a realistic human model, going through some believable movements. The clothes and the physical attributes of a real human like the hair are included in making the realistic human photo. It is also the animator's goal to put a complex yet natural-looking background, and, if possible, they aim to make realistic characters which blend together and make a realistic whole. Artists attempt to do this in such a way that the people watching will not think that a movie is generated by computers or made with the participation of the actors acting in front of the camera. This plan of simulating real human characters is definitely not going to happen in the near future. However, a concept like making realistic people can have a bearing in the film and computer animation industry for future developments.
Animators for computer games and television are doing animation using photorealistic design with a high detail. The quality of computer animation used in making movies would take many years to accomplish if you are using a personal computer alone. To make the photorealistic design possible, powerful and high quality computer work stations are used. The workstations that are used to make computer animations are specialized to render the images for a soft realistic output of the cartoon.

Computer Animation in Post Production

By: William Moore

Computer Animation in Post Production

One of the most sought after jobs in the market today is computer animation. The technology of computer animation is getting simpler and simpler day by day; simultaneously, the opportunities for people aspiring to become computer animators have increased tremendously.

The Technique

Traditionally, animation always used to be done in the manual way. The most popularly adopted method was to create a series of cartoon frames, which were then combined into a film. Another method was by using physical models, which were placed in a certain place and the image was captured; the model was then moved and the next image captured; and the process used to continue.

But, the conventional way has been replaced by computer animation. Computer animation, which is a part of computer graphics, is the technique of creating moving images with the use of computers. It is created by means of 3D or 2D computer graphics. Computer graphics is also referred to as 'Computer-Generated Imagery'. An image is shown on the computer screen, which creates an illusion of movement and this is replaced by a new image, which is slightly different from the previous image. Sophisticated computer animation involves moving the camera or the objects in a more refined way, wherein, the law of physics is used for achieving this.

The Software

Computer animation can be created with the help of a computer and animation software. Cinema 4D, Amorphium, Poser, and Ray Dream Studio are some examples of animation software. Many software options are available and prices vary according to the sophistication of the programs.

Computer animators are creative artists who use high-tech tools for achieving their creative perfection, but the ultimate reason for their achievement is their creative vision.

Forms of Animation

There are different types of animation available:
Scripting Systems was the earliest system used for motion control, where the computer animator writes a script in animation language. One of such scripting languages is ActorScript Animation Language.

Procedural Animation (which defines the movement over time), uses the law of physics for generating a movement. For example, consider a motion, which is the result of another action, as in the case of a ball, which if thrown towards an object, hits that particular object and causes it to move in the desired direction.

Representational Animation is a technique, wherein an object changes its shape during animation. This is sub-divided into three categories - articulated object animation, soft object animation, and morphing.

Stochastic Animation, which controls a groups of objects like fireworks and waterfalls.

Behavioral Animation, where a group of objects behaves according to a set pattern as indicated by the animator.

Computer generated animation is used in various diverse fields such as films, television, videos, advertising, gaming, website designing and in a host of other situations. Due to its wide range of application, computer animation has seen a spurt in growth in the last few years.

Audiences all over the world, especially young audiences, are captivated by the extreme graphics and sound effects, which have been introduced in television programs, movies as well as in commercials. Use of multimedia makes the presentation even more attractive and effective.

Micro-computers

By: Ernesto Pramasetya

Micro-computers, office or mobile computing device, a chip size of its Central Processing Unit or CPU used (see computer). Micro-computers are also called the personal computers (PCs), PCs, small businesses, and microphones. Small laptops are called compact. At their first appearance, a single-user device was noted, and could only handle four, and eight or even 16 bits of information at once. Recently named the distinction between micro-computers and mainframes (as well as smaller systems minicomputer, mainframe-type blurred), like other models of micro-computers have the speed and increased data-handling capability of the processors in the 32 - bit, Multi.

Microcomputers are designed to be used in houses, schools and offices environments. In the house, they can both as tools for managing the budget (to balance the family checkbook used, the structure of the budget of the family income index) and as an entertainment device (computer games, catalogue records and books). Students can use the computer for homework, and also in fact, many public schools are now employing devices programmed learning and computer literacy subjects. Small companies can buy computers for word processing, accounting, the storage and handling of mailing lists. Micro computers were made possible by two technical inventions in the field of microelectronics. They are the integrated circuit, which was invented in 1959, and the microprocessor, which first had appeared 1971st The IC enables miniaturization of computer memory and microprocessor circuit reduces the size of the CPU of a computer the size of a silicon chip. Since a processor calculates, performs logical operations, contains instructions for operating and controlling the flow of data, there was the possibility of developing a system that can function as a complete micro-computer.

The first desktop system that seemed designed for personal use, size 1974, which was offered by Micro Instrumentation Telemetry Systems. The owners of the system were the editors of a popular magazine and the sale was prompted by technology, creating mail orders computer games by the magazine. The application of microcomputer kit was an immediate, unexpected and totally overwhelms. Dozens of small entrepreneurs meet this demand by producing equipment for the new market. It was also very popular because it can be programmed and the user can store information about cartridges. Shortly after Tandy introduced new model was two engineers, programmers, Stephen Wozniak and Steven Jobs, a computer company called Apple Computers manufacture has started. Some of the innovations in their own micro-computers were introduced in expanded memory, low cost lead programs and store data and graphics in color. Apple Computer has become the fastest-growing U.S. corporate history. Its rapid growth has inspired a large number of manufacturers of micro-computers would like to enter the field. Before the end of the decade, the personal computer market has to be clearly defined.

In 1981, IBM had introduced its new model of micro-computer, the IBM PC. Although he is not the latest computer technology was used, the PC was a milestone in this growing field. He showed that industry was Microcomputer just a trend now, and that the computer was in fact an indispensable tool for business. PC with a 16-bit micro processor led the developments of faster and more powerful microscopes and their use in an operating system that was for all other computer manufacturer, has in a de facto industry standard in a row.

5 Ways To Protect Your Computer From Viruses And Other Harms

By: Adrian Hargray

Computer viruses are rampant in the world today and it's important to know about them before they wreak havoc on your computer. Computer security is something that you have to take seriously for the life of your computer. In this article, we will take a look at some tips that you can use to secure your computer and keep it safe at all times. Here's tip number 1.

1) Make backups

Always make backups of your computer files. You never know when your system will go down or when you need to find old copies of files on a particular day. You can make backups to a flash drive or even CD-ROMs and use these as your storage devices. Backing up your computer system is pivotal, and is something that you should start doing today.

2) Update your computer

Microsoft has a website where you can go to get updates for your computer system. It's best to find out if there are any new updates each month to stay on top of things. If you're someone who uses Microsoft Office alot also, you will want to find patches and updates for your office programs also. Staying protected in this way will protect you from the latest virus and hacker programs out there. Be sure to do this right away so that you can stay on top of things.

3) Get a firewall

You can install a firewall on your computer system in either a hardware form or a software form. Microsoft Windows XP already comes with a pre-built in firewall that you can use to protect your computer. When you don't have a good firewall setup, all kinds of worms and trojan horses can attack your computer via the internet. To prevent this from happening, you will want to have a good firewall setup and installed.

4) Check your browser settings

Never install active-x and javascript unless you absolutely have to. If it is apart of a work or employment function, then it is probably safe to do so. But if you're just browsing online and a website wants to install active-x on your computer - don't do it. This is what the hackers use to put bad programs onto your computer.

If you're using Internet Explorer as your web browser, you will want to put your security setting to High and your trusted sites zone to Medium Low. This will keep you protected from the harms online.

5) Use antivirus software

Companies such as Symantec and McAfee have good antivirus software but you should know that there are alot of other players in the game. There's a free program called Malwarebytes that checks for harmful programs on your computer. The free version does a good job of protecting you and the paid version works to stop viruses and harmful programs before they even get to your computer. You should consider the use of these programs if you want to keep your computer safe.

All 5 of these tips for keeping your computer safe are excellent uses for computer security.

Be sure to start using them today so that you can secure your computer now.

Techno-Empowerment - Computer Maintenance for Non-Techies

To be a user of the computer in the 1970s and early 1980s must you be if not a programmer at least knowledgeable enough to tell the computer what to do on line command that was the entire interface. The artists and other creators were not able to use the new generation of tools to what Apple pioneered the graphical user interface (GUI) in 1984. The hidden all Macintosh operating system (OS) activities desk behind a look point-and-click utilities and kept simple enough for at least 8 to System arrived in the mid-1990s you can keep your Mac without professional assistance.

Times have changed and you can not keep your computer if Windows or Mac OS X without having at least some technical skills. The first step is to understand the elements that combine to make the whole. Many people talk about computer systems or networks in the singular, even though there are many individual pieces. Sometimes one of these pieces has a problem that affects the whole system, but we can not fix everything unless you know which party has the problem. If your desktop does not work and the failure or bottleneck arrives unexpectedly, he suggests (but does not always) you have not done regular maintenance. It could also mean that it may be time for some hardware or software upgrades. In spite of your being an artist, the more you know to keep your PC or Mac with law, the better. And you'll have less downtime if you can keep things going and try to find the problem rather than wait for the computer repairman.

On the hardware side of the equation, you also need to know about the RAM, video cards, wireless protocols 802.1, monitors, cables, Bluetooth and so on. If you need technical expertise, you can also find it on the big development companies where some employees are expected to keep abreast of all aspects of computing and network environment. Some of these companies actually branch to include technical services, and their other creative offerings.

This is the first option, however, you need to explore seriously. You or your colleagues probably has a meaning, perhaps a natural affinity for working with computers, hardware, software, peripherals and networks, and may become expert enough to manage a small business systems with a little education and targeted training. This may cost a bit, maybe some junior college courses, or almost nothing for a motivated individual with the time and inclination to read, study and master the computer and network maintenance.Even if you can only deal with common problems (crashes, connection problems, software problems, etc.), these low-level disturbances are more than 80% loss of productivity. The more you learn, the less you'll pay for solutions to someone else. He called techno-empowerment, and it is a good thing.

The History of Computer Desks

By: scheygen smith

Have you ever wondered how your computers at home originated? Moreover, how the Home-Computer-Desk became a household icon? Finally, why has it become a need to buy and own one?

The first computer was first applied during the Second World War. Well, it is much appropriate to say that the military planned to use the first computer during the war. However, its completion was done after the war. It was supposedly abandoned by the government. This project consumed too much money and it triggered the public to question the government. However, the American government saw some future in the ENIAC, which is the first computer. It had great abilities and it has the processing abilities of Einstein and Oppenheimer. If a machine like this could be developed, it could mean an evolution of the world's standards.

True enough, the American government funded the research and fast improvements were achieved. The introduction of computers to the whole world was indeed remarkable. It made other scientists curios about the capacity of this kind of machine. During that time this type of machine was still unheard of. However it already managed to fuel the competition for its development. Discoveries were made left and right. It was not at the same country or at the same time but all of these discoveries led to the development of computers.

It was not long that home desk computers were then available. Although at first, only rich people can own them. It was still quite expensive during those times since they used gold as one of the materials in creating computers. Gold was a great conductor of electricity but it was also a bit expensive. Its need for power and heat dissipation was lower than the creation of copper. The Home-Computer-Desk consumes less energy and as a result the user can save on his or her electric bill. Later, they found silicon and other intrinsic materials that are abundant in nature as a replacement for gold in some of its parts. This made the production cost of the computer lower, making it affordable to the market.

With the computer commercialized and accessible market, different sectors in the society took advantage of it. Business establishments, military bases and ordinary homeowners are now using computers as tool in managing their daily activities. Home-Computer-Desk have already replaced calculators and file cabinets in the office. Even at home, computers are already being used. In fact, it has already becoming a household icon. Almost everyone has a home desk computer and it provides them the chance to do school work and office work at the comforts of their home.

The simple home desk computers that are often seen anywhere has a lot of history within it. It went through a lot of changes before it achieved its current status. It started with the idea of helping the war and now, it has become a phenomenon. The computer was huge at first. It occupied a space equivalent to a building and it needed thousands of watts to power it, and it also costs 5 million dollars to build. Now, home desktop computers are available in the market. It occupies the space of a table, uses power less than your refrigerator and costs a minimum of 400 dollars.

Geeks On Site on: "I Know How to Build a Computer... umm, What's CPU?"

By: Erica Kirschbaum

Have you ever been in a conversation that involved terms like CPU, motherboard, or PC component? We would like to hazard a guess the conversation was probably about building your own computer.  You may have felt a bit overwhelmed with the terminology, especially for those of you who simply want to turn the computer on and just have it work- knowing how and why it works may mean very little to you.  Lack of knowledge in some areas, especially technical areas, does not mean you should feel dumb.  We have all been there at some point.  Nevertheless, some fundamental knowledge is useful.  Geeks On Site does not just provide computer repair and support services, but we also guide customers through the basics of computer usage, thereby reducing customers' risk of experiencing "user error", a term we believe no customer appreciates hearing.

When looking to purchase a computer you would benefit by asking what is it that you need? Are you going to use your computer mainly for graphic design? Or the maintenance of a customer database for the small business you have always wanted to own?  Maybe you are interested in gaming.  Most likely, you will be using it for all these things and more- or perhaps you will not be the only user.  So, the staff at Geeks On Site has created a quick guide (remember Cliff Notes?) for the basic computer user, or for those of you looking into getting one.

Let us begin with the computer components, which, we are pretty sure, you all more or less know: the monitor, hard drives and CD-ROM drives, the computer case, RAM (memory), USB reader, keyboard and mouse. Some of the components less known are: the motherboard, the CPU, and the video card. We will go over some optional computer components, such as the sound card, the LAN card, and the CD and DVD writer later.

The monitor is probably the most expensive component.  These days you can get a 17 or 19-inch LCD monitor, although you can still find the old CRT (the TV screen-like) monitors, which are much cheaper than the LCDs, but can take up a lot more desk space.  The hard drive is very important, so you might want to buy one of the better known brands such as Western Digital, Seagate, or Maxtor.  Based on our experience, the companies that produce more popular brands sometimes have better customer service procedures in place, should you find yourself having problems with the product.  Since software packages usually come in CD format, it is desirable for you to have a CD reader since floppy disks are long gone.  Furthermore, your CD drive needs to be at least 24X speed, otherwise it might get very slow. Anything less is not recommendable, as this will probably result in hitting your computer and honoring it with different insults while you wait, which is what some Geeks On Site customers claim to have done. You probably will want to get a CD or DVD writer also, as it has become practically a must have feature nowadays!

The computer case is, in simple words, your computer's "physical address".  This hardware is where most of the components are.  Another important part of your computer is the memory, or RAM (Random Access Memory).  This part determines the speed of your computer, and how fast you can run multiple applications at the same time. Depending on what you are going to be using your computer for, Geeks On Site recommends you have 4GB of memory in your computer. Finally, two of the most well known components are the keyboard and mouse. You can find these components in different variations, wireless or classic, and you won't pay a fortune for it.

Now, let's visit components that are not so visible, and therefore perhaps not as well-known to the novice computer user.  One of the most essential components is the motherboard, which lives inside the computer case. It is also one of the biggest components; and has the function of tying all the separate components together. We will talk more about the motherboard later, in part two of this series.  That being said, for now we will simply mention what you need to look for when buying this component. Since it is an integral part of your computer, you need to look at some factors such as the supported CPU and RAM, bus speed, and built-in sound/video/LAN.   Geeks On Site writers have broken down each item and will explain what it is and how it works.

- The CPU (or more commonly known as the processor) is one part of your computer's brain, and as such, you really need to know which one to choose.  Most people end up with an Intel (Pentium), or AMD (Athlon); there is a lot more we can say about processors, and we will go into more detail in the next installment of this series, but in a nutshell your CPU allows you to operate software.

- Sound, video and LAN cards are usually included in your computer's motherboard.  The sound card's importance depends on whether or not you will be running multimedia applications.  However, if you use your computer mostly to work, you may not care as much as say a gamer might.  The video card IS important to everyone, so, if it is not already in the motherboard, Geeks On Site suggests you add it since the video card displays images on your monitor, and who knows, and you may want to take a little break from work and add 3D graphics to your family photos or play some cool online games.

The Geeks On Site team hopes this article has enlightened you.  Our goal was to give our readers a quick lesson in computer parts and jargon, so when you are in the store, trying to buy one, or in the repair shop, trying to get the computer you have fixed, you will feel more comfortable.

Stay tuned for our next article where we continue discussing the parts of a computer and explore more items you need to know in order to build a computer according to your needs.

Combine Business and Technical Skills with Computer Repair and Maintenance

By: Klaudia

Computers are everywhere we look. We have them in our homes, in our offices, in schools, at libraries and even in our cell phones. These machines help us to do everything from accounting to writing letters to finding the best place for sushi via the Internet. So, imagine how you would feel if one day the screen on your computer went blank without explanation and the machine didn't turn back on. You'd probably panic and then you'd turn to the Computer Repair and Maintenance industry for help.

Broken down to the most literal terms, computer repair and maintenance technicians are responsible for the diagnosis and correction of any hardware or software issues that may arise on a client's computer. This means that they are employed in a variety of business and industry settings that include: personal computer support, sales and service, personal computer bench repair, upgrades and maintenance, operation and maintenance of computerized manufacturing equipment, and consumer electronic equipment sales and service.

Due to the nature of their jobs, computer repair and maintenance professionals encounter and fix a variety of problems to ensure that your computer is up and running in no time. First and foremost, these technicians identify (troubleshoot) a computer failure that has put the machine out of action or reduced its performance. Once the problem is found, the computer and repair maintenance tech consults with the owner of the computer and given the go ahead, moves onto the repair stage. In many cases, software issues such as software corruption, incorrect installation, incompatible upgrades or malware cause computer problems. It is up to the tech to isolate and resolve these issues, at the same time being able to explain in laymen's terms what created the problem and how to avoid its recurrence. Computer repair and maintenance professionals must also be aware of anti-virus software and have the ability to deal with spyware, which is malicious software that collects information from the infected computer-adware and auto-loads ads that come with a software installation. Another part of the field is dealing with new challenges, such as installing and configuring any piece of hardware that a client has elected to purchase and wants to synch to the computer's database. These pieces of hardware may include cell phones or PDAs as well as printers or fax machines. Lastly, a technician should have a solid background in networking and commonly used operating systems.

To learn how to handle the complexities of the job, those interested in the field should attend a program such as Centennial College's Computer and Maintenance Repair undertaking. To apply for this one-year computer repair certification program, applicants must present at minimum an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent or be 19 years of age or older. They must also have the Compulsory English 12C or U credit or skills assessment, or equivalent and the Math 11M or U, or 12C or U or skills assessment, or equivalent.

Due to the growth of microcomputer-based systems on the marketplace, a Computer Repair and Maintenance technician has to link his or her computer expertise with general business applications. This concise computer repair program makes this connection with a combination of computer-related courses (such as PC Hardware, MS Office, Network Technologies and more) and business-based ones (such as Customer Skills and Communication Skills for Computer Repair and Networking). You'll also get hands-on experience with installing, maintaining and applying trouble-shooting techniques. Upon completion of the Computer Repair and Maintenance program, you'll have a valuable combination of abilities to start you off in the career direction of your choice.

About the Author

Klaudia explains the job tasks that Computer Repair and Maintenance technicians encounter in dealing with a multitude of clients' computers. She also explains how the computer repair program at Centennial College prepares techs for the challenges of the field. Protective Computer Glasses

By: Aakash Shah

The use of computers is increasing day by day. Computers are now being used in all fields of work. More and more people are now working for a long time with computer. They have to stare at the monitor screen continuously for a long time. When people get involved in their work of looking at the computer screen, their blink rate gets reduces. The continuous exposure to the screen may cause irritation, drying up of eyes, headaches, blurring and burning sensation in the eyes. This is called computer vision syndrome (CVS). Irrespective of the ages, people are suffering from CVS. To eliminate this CVS you must start wearing computer glasses. The computer glasses are now designed to block UV rays and eliminate glare.

People who have combinational vision problems use bifocal glasses or contact lenses. The computer screen will be located at a distance larger than reading distance but smaller than distant vision. When people use bifocal lenses to work with computer they need to look at the screen at a specific angle which creates neck problems. Those who wear contact lenses also have problems in viewing at all the points on the computer monitor.

The need for computer glasses is obvious for protecting your eyes. It requires unique features and so optometrists now suggest separate computer test for the eyes to find out what is required for your computer glass. Computer glasses come with polarized lenses with sun blocking factor so that they provide a complete protection for the eyes.

Those who find symptoms of CVS but don't require correction glasses must also consult the optometrist who may suggest you to wear glasses that magnifies the computer screen so that the strain on the eyes is greatly reduced. You cannot use the same reading glasses when you work in a computer.

Even if you don't have to spend a long time with computers, you have to use computer glasses to protect your eyes from CVS syndrome. Non prescription glasses with polarized lenses that block maximum UV rays are available in the market and you can use them as computer glasses to eliminate glare and reduce eye pressure. When you go for branded glasses they cost you more.

You can also use photochromic sunglass if you want 2 in 1 sunglass. These photochromic sunglasses alter the amount of light entering the eyes depending on the conditions prevailing outside. These lenses may also include a polarization filter to use them as computer glasses.

Computer glasses are also available with prescriptions. The computer glasses must give you a clear vision. There should not be any lines or distortions when you see through computer glasses. You can also go for plastic lenses when you have weak prescription. When your prescription is strong you can use high index plastic lenses that are very thin and flat. Before buying your computer glass, consult with your optometrist to know exactly what your eyes need.
