If you are experiencing a slow computer startup, I'll like to give you some tips to fix your problems. Computer starts up by collecting some files located in the system folders. If you can find a way to slim down this folders then your computer will boots faster. This is advance for some people so I will give you easy and quick tips you can implement straight away.

First Fix - You can fix a slow computer startup by reducing the startup items in your computer. This is one of my favorite tools in a computer. The System Configuration Utility allows you to uncheck any programs that you do not want to allow to start when you boot your computer.

The common culprits are MSN Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL services, Adobe Updater, Real Player Updater, etc. These small programs starts whenever your computer start and they consume your memory. The more of them you have the slower your computer takes to boot, and the longer it takes for the computer to be ready for use. you can also do this by downloading and runnng a system optimizer that does it automatically.

Second Fix - You can fix a slow computer startup by also reducing the amount of background processes you allow to start automatically. Windows XP and vista comes with built in services that we do not use or need everyday, you need to find out which of these services you do not need and disable them from automatically starting up whenever you boot your computer.

Third fix - You can fix a slow computer startup by reducing the number of files it loads at startup. Windows XP and Vista has huge driver files, sound files, graphics, etc. If you can trim down these files then you will experience a faster computer startup.
