As long as everything is running smoothly, your machine stays invisible. But wait! Once your computer starts giving you problems and it slows down, freezes or starts giving you all these weird errors, that is when you start noticing the computer and start asking how to fix a slow computer.

2. Do a scan disk and defragment your hard drive on a regular basis. You can find the tools for this in accessories -> system tools.

3. Run a registry scan and scan your registry files. This will delete any entries no longer needed and look for any corrupt files and fixes them.

By doing these things on a regular basis, you will see how much easier it is to maintain your computer as well as noticing that you do not become as frustrated as before because your computer doesn't slow down any more and this is the way to fix a slow computer.
